This policy outlines how we collect, use, store and protect your data when you use Qonix to build your lasting transformation archive.

We collect only the information needed to deliver the core Qonix experience you expect, including:
Account Information (Optional): If you create an account to sync your projects across devices, we collect your name, email address, and secure login credentials.
Your Project Content: This includes all content you actively add to Qonix when documenting your makeover: before and after photos, material descriptions, cost tracking data, timeline notes, and any other content you add to your transformation archive. This is your creative work, and we treat it as such.
Automatic Usage Data: We collect non-personal usage data to improve Qonix, including device information, app performance logs, feature interaction data, and crash reports. This helps us fix bugs and refine features to make your project documentation smoother.
2. How We Use Your Information
We only use your data to deliver and improve the Qonix service aligned with our core mission. This includes:
Enabling core Qonix features: storing your before and after photos, generating your visual project timeline, tracking all your material costs, and maintaining your searchable, lasting archive of transformations.
Synching your projects across your devices when you create an account, so you can update your makeover journey wherever you are.
Improving Qonix features: we use anonymized usage data to understand which tools are most helpful for makers and designers, and to refine our service to better fit your needs.
Protecting our service: preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to the platform.
We will never use your personal project content for advertising or marketing purposes without your explicit written consent.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or private project content with third parties for commercial purposes. We only share data in limited circumstances:
With trusted service providers who help us run Qonix (such as cloud storage providers, authentication services). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and only use it as directed by us.
If required by legal process, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Qonix, our users, and the public.
If you explicitly choose to share your transformation project publicly (via shareable links or public galleries), any content you share will be accessible to others per your chosen sharing settings. You can adjust or revoke sharing access at any time.
In the event of a business transition (such as a merger or acquisition), your data will remain subject to the privacy commitments in this policy unless you are notified otherwise.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your transformation archive is stored on secure cloud infrastructure, and we implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. While no method of digital storage is 100% secure, we work continuously to maintain the highest level of protection for your content.
We retain your data for as long as you maintain an active account with us. If you choose to delete your account or individual project content, we will delete your content from our active servers within 30 days, except where we are required to retain data for legal compliance purposes.

You retain full ownership of all project content you add to Qonix, and you have full control over your data at all times. You can:
Access, update, or delete any of your project content or personal information at any time through your account settings.
Export a full copy of all your transformation project data at any time, in a common, accessible format.
Delete your entire account and all associated data permanently, with just a few clicks.
Adjust your sharing settings to control who can see your project content.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or service features. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this policy and notify users of material changes via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of Qonix after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
